Other Projects
A project with the aim for us to look at a current problem in people's journeys. Pretty vague.
After a lot of research we decided upon combatting the constant misuse of disabled parking spaces, as the curren solution for this ws pretty non existent, espeicially at supermarkets or other large retail outlets.
We also discovered that many people who weren't "conventionally" disabled, such as a mother having an ill child felt as if they were being judged by others.
True Blue combats this by having a light that confirms the car is indeed registered as a disabled vehicle.

The Good Journey
Blackwood Student Design Finalist
A project to design the next commonwealth baton.
I decided to look into the touch technology available and see if this could be used to give the impression of connectivity between the runners and countries competing.
Using the Celtic knot as inspiration and using copper to mimic traditional wood, this allowed me to incorporate technology into the material to create a baton which lit up on touch, creating a more dynamic experience to both the runners and the viewers.
